Bet: Arsenal -1 Handicap (1.63 Unibet).
Arsenal v Huddersfield
Arsenal can class themselves as very lucky after their weekend result, where they were held off for almost the full 90 minutes away to the impressive Burnley. Only a very late penalty gave them the win. But hey, if you followed my previous bet, then we all won!
At home Arsenal just beat Tottenham comfortably. A lot of their home performances have surprisingly seen them perform very solidly at the back. They may have conceded 3 in the Premier League opener against Leicester, but since then they have conceded just one goal in their five home games and have won every one of them. The last failure to win at The Emirates came all the way back in January, so Huddersfield have a mountain to climb here.
Huddersfield are also solid at the back. They gave everything in their home game against Manchester City and even took the lead on the stroke of half-time, but a late goal from the unstoppable visitors saw them fall to defeat.
This was Huddersfield’s 5th defeat in their last seven league games as well, so things aren’t going particularly well for the visitors at the moment. They have managed to beat Manchester United in this period, but away from home they aren’t quite as impressive.
They haven’t won a single trip away this season and have lost all but one of them. More worrying is the fact they have failed to score in a single one of them, and given Arsenal’s excellent defensive record at The Emirates going for Arsenal to Win to Nil looks a great value bet.
